2: DIGITAL DOCUMENTARY
1. Have another student take a picture of you in a Civil War uniform. Wear the gray uniform if you were a Confederate soldier and the blue uniform if you were a Union Soldier.
2. Import the image into a photo editing app. Crop it and alter the appearance to make it look old. Save it.
3. Find other images from our Civil War file that help illustrate what you wrote in your journal.
4. Create your digital documentary using iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. The script for your documentary will be the journal entries you wrote during the simulation.
5. Upload your digital documentary and picture to your page on our project website.

3: INTERVIEW A VETERAN
1. Work with a partner to interview the veteran. The student interviewing will complete the interview form. The student giving the interview will relay their experience from the simulation.
2. Once the interview form is complete, record the interview using http://vocaroo.com/ or the Voice Recorder Pro app.
The interviewer must begin the recording by stating his or her name and organizational affiliation (Veterans' History Project of Pepper Ridge), the veteran’s full name, the date and the general location in which the interview is being conducted.
